FACILITY RENTAL
The Bearspaw Historical Society has day use rental space available for community groups or individuals in three buildings – the historic one room school, the teacherage, and a near replica of the small horse barn. See below for a description of its size, capacity and amenities.

THE BEARSPAW HISTORIC ONE ROOM SCHOOL
The classroom is accessed from the front door and there is a wheelchair ramp to that door from the parking lot. There is a barrier free washroom off of the classroom. There is a kitchenette and a second washroom downstairs. The school has 5 folding tables (6’ x 3’) and 30+ chairs. The old school desks can be set up if requested in advance. There is an older piano.
Kitchenette in basement: Sink, small under counter fridge, 12 cup coffee maker, 30 cup coffee maker, kettle, teapot, and microwave. You must supply your own dishes, cups, glasses, and other event supplies.

The small front room of the teacherage is available for rent. It has a couch and a small table with four chairs. There is no toilet in this building so you must use one in the school or barn.

The horse barn provides a light and airy meeting space as the two large barn doors can be opened to let in sunlight. It has a heated floor, a barrier free washroom, a kitchenette with a sink, under counter fridge, microwave, kettle, 12 cup coffee maker, and teapot. Please bring your own supplies for events. The barn has 20 chairs, 6 folding tables (6’ x 3’), and 6 card tables. A patio is available for use in the summer. The main entrance to the barn on the south side is wheelchair accessible as is the door to the patio.

RATES
The school and horse barn are available for $30 per morning, afternoon, or evening. The teacherage is $25.
TERMS OF USE
Click here to view or download a copy of the rental agreement. User groups are responsible for cleaning up the rooms after they are used. That means wiping off the tables, sweeping the floor, cleaning any dishes used, and taking away any garbage.
